Perfect artinya adalah sempurna. Present perfect tense disebut keterangan waktu yang sempurna dikarenakan dalam tenses atau keterangan waktu ini tindakan, peristiwa atau kejadian yang terjadi telah selesai atau telah berakhir.


Ketepatan waktu dalam tindakan, peristiwa atau kejadian ini tidak terlalu penting dan oleh karena itu keterangan kapan tindakan, peristiwa atau kejadian ini berlangsung tidak disebutkan dalam tenses ini.

Berikut ini adalah contoh kalimat present perfect tense dalam tiga bentuk kalimat bahasa inggris. Yaitu kalimat positif atau positive sentence, kalimat negatif atau negative sentence dan yang terakhir adalah kalimat tanya atau introgatif yang umum disebut dengan interrogative sentence.

Contoh kalimat present perfect tense dalam tiga bentuk kalimat bahasa inggris

  1. POSITIVE SENTENCE (kalimat positif)
SUBJECT HAVE / HAS VERB 3 (past participle) OBJECT
I have seen this movie.
You have seen this movie.
He has seen this movie.
Rani has seen this movie.
The boy has seen this movie.
She has seen this movie.
Putri has seen this movie.
The girl has seen this movie.
We have seen this movie.
You have seen this movie.
They have seen this movie.
The children have seen this movie.

 

NOTE :

Pada kalimat present perfect tense kata – kata seperti have dan has wajib digunakan. Kata – kata tersebut menunjukkan TELAH.

Have digunakan untuk subjek I, You, We dan They

Sedangkan has digunakan untuk subjek It, He dan She

Dan kata kerja yang digunakan selalu sama untuk setiap subjek, yaitu kata kerja bentuk ke tiga (Verb 3) atau yang biasa disebut dengan past participle.

  1. NEGATIVE SENTENCE (kalimat negatif)
SUBJECT HAVE NOT / HAS NOT VERB (past participle) OBJECT
I have not eaten lunch.
You have not eaten lunch.
He has not eaten lunch.
Rani has not eaten lunch.
The boy has not eaten lunch.
She has not eaten lunch.
Putri has not eaten lunch.
The girl has not eaten lunch.
We have not eaten lunch.
You have not eaten lunch.
They have not eaten lunch.
The children have not eaten lunch.

  1. INTERROGATIVE SENTENCE (kalimat tanya atau introgatif)
HAVE / HAS SUBJECT VERB (past participle) OBJECT
Have I finished the work?
Have you finished the work?
Has he finished the work?
Has Rani finished the work?
Has the boy finished the work?
Has She finished the work?
Has Putri finished the work?
Has the girl finished the work?
Have We finished the work?
Have You finished the work?
Have They finished the work?
